Chariton Valley Announces Fiber Network Expansion

Chariton Valley’s CEO, Kirby Underberg has announced a fiber expansion plan to bring fiber-optic broadband services to another underserved Missouri community, Marceline.  Chariton Valley will also provide the opportunity for 8 additional communities to express their interest in becoming our next zone build project: Clarence, Shelbina, Cairo, Clark, Brunswick, Hannibal, Monroe City & Keytesville.

Underberg stated that Chariton Valley is committed to bringing broadband networks to rural Missouri.  Households will be able to sign up before the initial build out.  Known demand will assist us in planning community builds.  “We will build where we have the most interest first,” said Chariton Valley’s CEO Kirby Underberg.  “Our goal is to ultimately provide access to high-speed, fiber-based services to all residents and businesses in each market.”

Chariton Valley recently received recognition as a Certified Gig-Capable provider by NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association. Chariton Valley provides cutting-edge Gigabit capable speeds over an advanced state of the art fiber network which extends all the way into your home producing the area’s fastest, most reliable internet service. “High speed broadband is essential for economic development and quality of life, and furthers Chariton Valley’s commitment to be the area’s premier communications provider,” said Underberg. “As a local company we are excited to offer the residents and businesses in all the communities we serve access to the increased benefits of a fiber network now and in the future.”
